This role is ideal for a journalist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom and is passionate about telling compelling stories across broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms. Responsibilities o Enterprise original, impactful stories that resonate with the local community across all platforms -broadcast, digital, streaming, and social media. o Deliver live reports with confidence and clarity, especially during breaking news and developing stories. o Write, present, and produce content in a clear, concise, and engaging manner tailored to each platform o Build and maintain a network of sources to stay ahead of the news curve. o Conduct interviews with newsmakers and community members to enhance storytelling. o Collaborate with producers, photographers, and newsroom staff to shape coverage and segment ideas. o Ensure all content meets FOX4's standards for journalistic integrity and production quality. o Contribute video and visual content for broadcast, digital, streaming, and social platforms, including shooting and editing content as needed. o Contribute to the station's digital presence. o Take part in special projects and other duties as assigned. Requirements o Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience. o Minimum two years of experience in news reporting. o Strong on-air presence and ability to ad-lib effectively. o Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. o Solid news judgment and a broad understanding of current events, local issues, and storytelling techniques. o Open to feedback and coaching, with a track record of applying guidance to improve performance. o Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. o Proficiency with newsroom technology, video editing software, digital publishing tools, and multimedia storytelling techniques. o Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and adapt to breaking news. o Valid driver's license with a good driving record. o Flexibility to work any shift, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. ***** EOE/MINORITIES/FEMALES/VETERANS/DISABLED ***** #J-18808-Ljbffr
