Test Automation Software EngineerThe Opportunity:Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your software engineering expertise in a high impact role? We’re rapidly building and launch capability for enterprise-web based systems in the cybersecurity field. We need a Test Automation Software Engineer to transform the way we execute quality assurance.You’ll be responsible for understanding system functionality and test cases in-depth to design, implement, and advance software test automation capability. You’ll analyze existing test automation software against the latest industry advancements in technology to design and recommend new solutions. You’ll determine test cases and rapidly implement software to improve automated coverage as a software engineer in testing. The world can’t wait.You Have: 2+ years of experience with test frameworks, including Selenium or Playwright, and test automation in CI/CD, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions2+ years of experience fielding production systems on web application development teams2+ years of experience with programming, including Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C# or .NET2+ years of experience with Agile development tools, including Git, Jira, or WikisExperience with software engineering and quality assurance of complex web applicationsExperience with web-based user interfaces, REST APIs, and databasesSecret clearance Bachelor's degreeNice If You Have: Experience with SQL, Windows Server, IIS, Containers, and LinuxExperience with DevSecOps and GitOpsExperience with security tools, including GitHub CodeQL or Static Code AnalysisKnowledge of complex web-based application functions, modules, integrations, or dataAbility to learn new languages and technologies, design technical solutions, make recommendations, and collaborate with testing and development teamsTop Secret clearance Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
